Established in 2016 by sisters Valentina Ignatova and Sabina Gyosheva, and best friend Denitsa Bumbarova, BY FAR gets its name from the creators’ son’s names: Filip, Alek, and Roman. This women-owned brand creates leather bags and shoes in elevated materials that help the women who wear them feel confident to take on the world. Drawing inspiration from films and TV shows of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, their iconic designs are reinventions of timeless silhouettes that are minimalist, joyful, and tailored for modern life, gaining popularity among big names such as Michelle Obama, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kaia Gerber, and Hailey Bieber.
