Ruslan Baginskiy for woman
Ruslan Baginskiy began working as a stylist for Ukrainian designers’ shoots and shows at the age of 20. He made his first headpiece in 2011 and his fascination was sparked. He started learning hatmaking from local milliners and designed his first collection, which was inspired by archival photographs from the 20th century. Upon studying these images, he thought it sad that hats no longer had such a prominent place in modern style and wanted to bring them back into our closets. His pieces are influenced by Ukrainian traditional dress as well as vintage fashion yet have a trendy flair that’s covered by stars like Madonna, who in 2018 tasked Ruslan with creating headwear for her Vogue Italia cover look. His designs have also been spotted on celebrities like Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, with Ukraine's first lady even wearing one of his pieces to an audience with the Pope.
